The squad will fly this evening and it's believed they'll be based in Marbella. No friendly matches will be playing during the week.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo said the weather played a big part in the decision to go.

"It was a decision that we made to go to a camp and work in a different environment," he said.

"One of the issues, of course, is the weather. We need vitamin D, we need the sun. We need to work in an environment with better weather conditions.

"The other point is that we’re going to stay together for more time, we’re going to spend 24 hours a day with each other, only us.

"It’s a full week, 24 hours a day, seven days a week so I think it will be very good for us and positive."

Wolves today lost 2-0 to Nottingham Forest, their first league defeat since October. They are nine points clear at the top of the Championship.

The squad will return ahead of next Saturday's visit to Portman Road to face Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town.
