The teenager has been a regular goalscorer at under-18 and Premier League 2 level for the Baggies over the last three seasons.

That form has seen him draw interest from other clubs with German giants Borussia Dortmund reportedly keen on the forward.

Albion fans have watched a number of talented youngsters leave the club in recent years with Louie Barry joining Barcelona and Morgan Rogers signing for Man City without making a first-team appearance. But Soule has committed his future to the club.

“It’s a great feeling to be continuing my journey at West Bromwich Albion," he said.

“I’ve been here since I was eight and I have put a lot of hard work into progressing through the ranks. Hopefully I can push on and make my debut for the first team in the near future.

“It’s not easy to break through but I’m working hard every day to get the best out of myself. Hopefully it all pays off.

“The staff here are great and they all help me develop. I feel like I’m at the right place to keep developing.”

“I’ve started this season really well. I’m top goalscorer in the team, which is really positive.

“My challenge now is to keep developing, become quicker, stronger and fitter and get closer to the first team.”
