Should Albion fear Huddersfield?

We spoke with Neil Waine, Huddersfield Town podcaster, to see what the Terriers are all about...

How do you assess Huddersfield's start to the season?

The start to the season has been turbulent at worst, horrendous at best!

A truly awful start that will hopefully turn now with the Cowleys.

Do you believe it was right to sack Jan Siewert?

It was 100% the correct thing to fire Siewert.

He had shown next to nothing since he started in January to let us think he was the man to take us forward.

What do you make of the appointment of Danny and Nicky Cowley?

The appointment of The Cowleys has been very well received in Huddersfield, they were the choice of many fans.

The fact the club made them their number one target and secured their services despite an initial knock-back was impressive.

What are the expectations at John Smith's this season, is there some pressure to achieve promotion?

The expectation was to stabilise after a dreadful season last time around.

I don’t think any Town fan expected a promotion challenge.

The fact it’s started so badly has been a little unnerving though!

What kind of football can we expect to see from Huddersfield?

I honestly haven’t a clue on what type of football to expect.

We played a very disjointed 4-3-3 for most of Siewert's tenure and although it was the same again last week I think we’ll see progress under the Cowleys but not sure how that will shape up as yet.

Who are the big danger men West Brom need to worry about?

Danger men! Depends on what context you mean!

Last week our back four were very dangerous... If they are that bad again it’s going to be a great afternoon for Albion.

The obvious choice for us really is Karlan Grant. He has an eye for a goal. Other than that it’s hard to see us as dangerous at all.

What's your predicted line-up for Huddersfield?

Predicted line up is tough again as I expect changes from last Sunday.

Do Huddersfield have any injury worries ahead of the game?

Only player to miss out last week through injury was Alex Pritchard. I’d hope he’d be back this weekend.

What have you made of West Brom from afar this season? Do you think they could challenge for promotion?

I think it’s been a decent start for WBA from the outside.

I certainly have you down as a top two contender.

What's your match prediction?

Until The Cowleys have been in a bit longer it’s hard to see anything other than a defeat for us at The Hawthorns.

West Brom 3 Huddersfield Town 0.
