The Baggies have been forced to move the clash from the original venue, the Estadio Municipal Guillermo, because it clashed with a reggae festival.

Villareal sparked concerns it was being played 45 minutes up the coast when they said it was due to be played at the Oliva Nova Beach and Golf Resort.

However, after some leg-work from technical director Luke Dowling and other Albion employees, the two clubs have now agreed to play it an unnamed venue closer to Benidorm.

That will be welcome news to the hundreds of Albion fans travelling to Spain next week. Kick-off will still be 7pm and entrance will still be free.

The new venue will be officially confirmed by the club on Monday once the local council give it the all-clear.
