Albion’s official supporters’ club are hosting an evening with the pair at The Hawthorns to pay tribute to them both.

Club captain Brunt and fellow midfielder Morrison both arrived in the summer of 2007, seven days apart from each other.

They have since gone on to enjoy successful careers at The Hawthorns, racking up 722 Baggies appearances between them.

Brunt is bearing down on 400 games for the Baggies, having played 392 times already, scoring 45 goals.

Morrison has 330 appearances and 39 goals to his name.

Both are currently in their 12th seasons at the club, and both have battled back from serious injury to play an important role this year.

Brunt has been made club captain by Darren Moore, while Morrison earned himself a new deal in the summer.

The tribute night will take place in the Richardson Suite of the East Stand on Sunday, January 13.

Tickets are priced £50 per person or £450 for a table of 10. Official supporters’ club members can attend for £40.

All profits are being donated to charities nominated by the players, but the dinner is not a substitute for the traditional testimonial.

The dress code is smart casual; no football shirts, jeans or trainers.
