The Lions were beaten 2-0 at The Hawthorns today thanks to second-half goals from Dwight Gayle and Kieran Gibbs.

Albion are the Championship's top scorers with 22 goals from their first nine games and they've struck 15 in their past four league games at home.

“They could score 600 goals this season!" said Harris, afterwards. "They are just a goal threat.

"They have got fantastic individual players and Darren Moore has done great to hang on to some of those players, while adding players like Dwight Gayle and Harvey Barnes.

"There is a group of players there with Premier League qualities, if not international qualities as well, with England.

"You know you have to be at your best to compete with West Brom and that’s why I’ll lavish praise on my squad."

Millwall have only picked up one point from their last six league games, but they frustrated Albion for 60 minutes today before Gayle broke the deadlcok.

“I’m proud of the performance," said Harris. "When we are so good, as we were at times in the first half, the use of the ball was really good, we have to be clinical and we had three good chances to score.

“And then at the other end, when things aren’t going for you... it really kicks you when you are down.

"It was a great save from Ben Amos from a point-blank header and as we are about to head it clear the ball clipped the crossbar and goes to Dwight Gayle’s foot.

“You can’t do anything about those moments. That is the way it it.

"The second goal went through Mahlon Romeo’s legs. If it hit his shinpad and goes wide that’s no problem.

"But I am pleased with the players because against QPR the other night it wasn’t good enough.

“In the first half the shape was excellent. If anyone was to question our belief, or question that Millwall team that we have grown to love over the last three-and-a-half years then in that first half, in that first hour, you have seen that it is all still there."
