The 48-year-old has been Roberto Martinez's long-running assistant, having followed him from Swansea to Wigan and then on to Everton and Belgium.

Jones and Moore played alongside each other at Doncaster Rovers in the 1990s, and now the Daily Mail claim the pair could be reunited at The Hawthorns.

After helping guide Belgium to third in the World Cup, Jones reportedly has other offers for his services.

When Moore was appointed head coach in May he said he had somebody in mind for his number two, but nobody has been employed yet.

At the moment, Moore is working with James Shan, who has been promoted from the under-23s to first team coach, and goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler.

Former Bradford team-mate Wayne Jacobs is also expected to join his backroom staff.
