Sturridge, who picked up a hamstring injury at Stamford Bridge last week, initially had an outside chance of playing this Saturday but he is now targeting his return for the sold-out trip to Watford on March 3.

Livermore has been out for three weeks since the FA Cup win over Liverpool, when he injured his hamstring, but is set to return to full training on Thursday.

One of the infamous ‘Cab Four’, he is currently under internal investigation from the club for his involvement in the controversial episode in Barcelona last week.

It’s alleged that Livermore, Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, and Boaz Myhill stole a taxi in the early hours of the morning while breaking curfew.

Having not played for several weeks, the England international is not match-fit and is expected to be named on the bench this weekend.

Gibbs missed last weekend’s FA Cup defeat to Southampton through illness, but he has made a swift recovery and is expected to play against Huddersfield.

That will be a boost for under-fire Baggies boss Alan Pardew, whose job will be under threat should Albion lose their fifth game in a row.

Pardew has taken the team from 17th in the Premier League to rock bottom, where they are currently seven points from safety.

His reputation among the board has taken a hit following last week’s embarrassing trip to Barcelona.

Pardew signed Sturridge on loan from Liverpool in the hope that he would score the goals to keep Albion up, and he removed the in-form Jay Rodriguez to fit him into his team.

But Sturridge, who Albion are paying £120,000-a-week, is yet to get on the scoresheet for the Baggies.

Oliver Burke pulled out of Monday night’s under-23s match at the last minute, but it was just a precaution and he is also due to be available this weekend.

Nacer Chadli and James Morrison both remain sidelined for now, but are due back in mid-March.

Albion have sold out their 2,200-seat allocation for the trip to Vicarage Road which comes after this weekend's game against Huddersfield.
