The Saddlers are heading to Notts County – who they won 2-1 against to clinch an immediate return to the third tier in April 2007 – on Saturday, July 20 (3pm).

They are now looking to bounce back at the first time of asking under Darrell Clarke, while County are readying up for the National League.

Walsall are also taking on three other non-league sides, heading to National League North outfit Alfreton Town on Saturday, July 6 (3pm).

They are facing Leamington, of National North too, at the New Windmill Ground on Tuesday, July 9 (7.45pm), and then travelling to Southern League Central side Nuneaton Borough on Saturday, July 13 (3pm).

The club will be announcing further friendlies in due course.

They welcomed Stoke, Villa and Dutch giants Ajax to the Banks's Stadium last year.
