The Saddlers have signed an agreement with HomeServe to be front-of-shirt sponsor for the next three years.

In addition, the household insurance repairs company – which is based in the town - will also sponsor the club's training kit and academy, having already struck a deal to sponsor the Main Stand at the Banks's Stadium back in February.

"We're delighted to be entering into this partnership with Walsall FC through the combination of shirt, Main Stand and Academy sponsorship," said Martin Bennett, chief executive officer of HomeServe Membership.

"As one of the town's largest employers, this partnership represents the beginning of an exciting relationship, not only with the club, but also with the Academy and Walsall FC's development of the stars of the future.

"We also see this partnership in terms of our commitment to our local community, which over the years has given us so much.

"We are confident it will be a winning partnership both on and off-the-field."

Founded in 1993, HomeServe currently employs around 1,200 people at its headquarters in Cable Drive, making it the town's largest private employer.

In Feburary, the company made headlines for the wrong reasons after being hit with a record £30.6million fine by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for mis-selling insurance policies to almost 70,000 customers.

They replace CAT Communications as the Saddlers front-of-shirt sponsor, while for the second year running accountancy firm Dains LLP will be the back-of-shirt sponsors.

"We are pleased that our association with The Saddlers is continuing," said Dains representative Richard McNeilly. "Walsall FC has a reputation as one of the best-run clubs in the country and we are proud that they carry our name on the back of their shirts."

For the third season running the club's home, away and goalkeeper kits are produced by Diadora. The home kit features a mostly red home shirt with white and black stripe down either sleeve, along with white shorts and red socks. Meanwhile, the away strip is all black aside from a yellow trim.

Walsall's commercial manager Nina Best described the designs as "fantastic" and added: "To have such prominent local organisations as HomeServe and Dains also involved is a big boost for the club.

"The 2014/15 season is going to be an exciting one for the club both on and off-the-field and we will certainly look the part."

The home kit will be available to pre-order online via www.walsallfcstore.co.uk from today. It will be on sale from the Banks's Stadium Club Shop from next week.

At present it is not possible to pre-order or purchase the away kit, goalkeeper's kit or training wear, though the club hope to announce further details soon.
