The 29-year-old arrives at Marston Road with a wealth of experience having had spells at Fleetwood and Barrow too.

He had a spell with Boro’s El Staffico rivals Hednesford Town last season.

Harvey is the third signing of the summer for Rangers, who are aiming to kick on in the Northern Premier. Goalkeeper Lewis King and striker Evan Garnett are the others who have been signed by joint bosses Alex Meechan and Andy Fearn.

Meanwhile, Kidderminster Harriers have a player away on international duty in the Concacaf Gold Cup.

Milan Butterfield – who used to play for Walsall – came on for the last half an hour as Bermuda got their campaign under way with a 2-1 loss against Haiti in Costa Rica.

Bermuda fielded former Harriers and Rushall Olympic man Dale Eve between the sticks too.

Elsewhere, young Harriers goalkeeper Tom Palmer has signed a new deal for the 2019/20 season.
