The home side suffered a blow in the eighteenth minute when goalkeeper Adam Whitehouse was forced off with an injury, but fortunately they named a goalkeeper on the bench and Joe Fryatt came on for his debut.

The scoring began in the twenty fourth minute when the impressive Ben Lund sent over a pin-point cross to the far post for Levi Rowley to sidefoot home. Four minutes later the visitors had a half chance but Joshua Hitter`s tame shot went well wide.

Six minutes before the interval the lead was doubled when Orrin Pendley headed down a free-kick to Danny O`Callaghan to fire home a sweet left foot shot.

Leiston had the first opportunity of the second half when Robert Eagle squared the ball to Kyle Hammond whose right foot shot went well wide.

From then on in it was all the home side. Jonathan Letford shot just wide and the visiting goalkeeper Jake Jessup pushed another Letford shot just wide but the home side wouldn’t be denied and they went 3-0 up in the fifty fourth minute when Sam Whittall converted a penalty, his third of the season.

Fifteen minutes from time Letford grabbed a fourth and two minutes later Shaquille Leachman-Whittingham made it five.

Five minutes from time the scoring was completed when substitute Jakob Burroughs played a lovely ball for Letford to round off an excellent afternoon`s work for the home side
