Izak Reid fired the Boro ahead within the opening 15 minutes when he struck low into the bottom corner.

Despite not having all the possession in the first half the Boro looked sharp on the break with new signing Andrew Haworth saw his effort saved after latching onto a ball over the top.

Just before the break the hosts went close again with Theo Bailey-Jones seeing his effort fly just over the bar.

Haworth, who joined Rangers from Bamber Bridge earlier in the week, had another chance after the break but saw his long range effort fly over the bar.

Trinity had their share of possession and equalised in the 89th minute when Simon Russell played through to Ashley Worsfold to fire home in the 80th minute.

Things were made worse for the Boro two minutes from time when Joe Cuff was sent off for his second yellow card.
