Stourbridge had a 26th minute goal from full back aaron Hayden ruled out for an alleged foul on St Ives goalkeeper Sam Wilson.

But the compelling moment arrived on the hour when Wilson saved a Robbie Thomspon-Brown penalty after Brad Birch had been brought down.

Stourbridge bossed the closing stages but couldn't make the breakthrough.

St Ives central defender Sam Cartwright made goal saving challenge to keep out Kaiman Anderson after Wilson had spilt the ball on 67 minutes.

Then just a minute later Wilson managed to hold a 35 yard thunderbolt from Hayden.

Both Aaron Forde and then Leon Broadhurst fired shots straight at Wilson as St Ives survived a late onslaught.
