Trio aiming for the top

Halesowen Town, Rushall Olympic and Stourbridge can now plot their routes to hopeful success after their fixtures for the new season were announced.

All three teams will compete in the newly formed Evo-Stik Southern Premier Central League in the 2018/19 campaign. In what is sure to be a keenly contested division, the three West Midlands sides all have high hopes ahead of the big kick-off on August 11. Halesowen narrowly avoided the drop in the Northern Premier League last season but there is a feel-good factor at the Grove after owner Colin Brookes completed a takeover of the club two weeks ago.

Rushall, meanwhile, proved a side transformed once boss Liam McDonald took the reins last season and look set to be in the promotion race this season after a strong finish last term. Stourbridge fans will be also hoping to be competing at the top of the division after being disappointed with a mid-table finish in the Northern Premier League last year.
