Villa suffered their biggest defeat of the season as they were comprehensively beaten on their own patch by the second-placed Foxes.

Dean Smith’s men, who have now lost five of their last seven Premier League matches, sit outside the bottom three on goal difference alone ahead of Saturday’s trip to Sheffield United.

The clash at Bramall Lane leads into a crucial run of fixtures over the festive period where Villa will take on teams around them in the table.

Grealish said: “We have a lot of important games coming up. We have so much belief in each other in the changing room.

“We will dust ourselves down this week and get ready for the game against Sheffield United.

“Then we have a big load of games coming up over the Christmas period against teams all around us. We will be looking forward to that.”
