Purslow is due to take part in a question and answer session as part of the Villa Supporters’ Trust Annual General Meeting, which takes place on Wednesday January 16 at 7pm.

The event at Villa Park’s Holte Suite is open to all paid Trust members and will also include a guest appearances by club legends Ian Taylor and Brian Little.

Members will also be entered into a ballot for two tickets to the Aston Villa Foundation evening with head coach Dean Smith, which takes place the following night on Thursday, January 17.

Purslow was appointed by the club’s majority shareholders Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens following their takeover last summer.

Trust director Howard Hodgson said: “The AGM offers a rare opportunity for supporters to put any questions they might have directly to Christian Purslow.

“We are always eager for new members. The club has international owners and the Trust is the one thing which can keep supporters connected and ensure they have a say.

“The bigger we are, the stronger we are.”

Trust membership is priced at £5-per-year. For more information visit villatrust.org.uk
