Footage on social media captured the moment stewards and police officers have to step in to break up the fight on Saturday.

It came as Villa lost 4-1 away at Sheffield United in the Championship.

Two people were also told to leave Bramall Lane after trouble flared.

Villa's supporter liaison police officer Pc Stewart Bladen, of West Midlands Police, tweeted after the match: "Safe journey home to the 2141 Villa fans who made the journey North to Sheffield. There were four away arrests and a couple of ejections."

Boos and jeers echoed around the away end as Villa’s winless sequence extended to five league and cup games.
