The club has announced the game is a sell-out with more than 41,000 fans set to pack Villa Park as Steve Bruce’s men attempt to keep alive their slim hopes of automatic promotion. Derby are looking to secure their place in the play-offs after beating second-placed Cardiff City 3-1 on Tuesday.

It is the second time Villa have sold out this season – the other occasion being for the Second City derby victory over Blues in February. The claret and blues sit four points off Cardiff with two games remaining.
