With all of professional European sport on an indefinite hiatus, athletes from around the continent have been finding novel ways to keep themselves fit and entertained during the forced postponement

1. Alison Becker

Liverpool star Alisson Becker certainly has an impressive range of throwing as his latest video shows.

The Brazilian stopper is seen in his garden facing a rather large mansion with a small attic window left open in the roof.

Alison launches the ball with consummate ease straight through the target before performing Cristiano Ronaldo’s 'Siiii' celebration.

Let's just hope no one was on the top floor - they may have received a nasty surprise!

2. Classic R9 cut

Classic R9

Who'd have thought in this crazy time of isolation that Ronaldo's classic 'R9' trim would be so popular.

With boredom reaching unprecedented levels, many fans have turned the scissors on themselves with devastating consequences.

Although with superstars like Richarlison copying Ronaldo's famous cut, it was only ma matter of time until the masses joined in.

This Brazil fan seems pretty happy with his effort, but wait until his Mum sees it!

3. Liverpool yoga session

The Liverpool squad have begun training together at home, with Jurgen Klopp joining the likes of Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk for an early morning yoga session.

The Reds are still in quarantine, with Melwood not set to open until the government’s public lockdown process provisionally concludes.

James Milner, Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip were also present for the group 'Zoom' chat.

But Georginio Wijnaldum was nowhere to be seen, with Alexander-Arnold suggesting he was still in bed - we sense a fine coming!

4. Kane Williamson

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson recently gave his dog Sandy some catching practise in the slips with the Golden Retriever proving more than handy to the task.

The 29-year-old is keeping Sandy as his personal training buddy and even had his pooch at his side during a weekend gym session.

And it seems a few England cricketers could learn a thing or two from Sandy, her technique is flawless!

Although we don't recommend catching a cricket ball in your mouth - the dental bill won't be pretty!
