Despite a classy 85 from 58 balls from Alexei Kervezee and 62 from Jayden Levitt, Bromsgrove slid to 206 all out against Smethwick, having reached 178-2 with Gurinder Singh taking 4-38 and Sajid Ahmedzai picking up 3-34 for the visitors who reached their target for the loss of eight wickets with an over to spare.

A half-century from Waqar Saleem (51) for Smethwick and 3-30 for Bromsgrove skipper Mark Evenson were the highlights of the second innings.

One more win and a single bonus point will do the trick for Moseley, but Himley kept the pressure on with a two-wicket success at Tamworth, who totalled 230-7.

Jacob Flower (100) and Stuart Burrows (56) put on 122 for the third Tamworth wicket but 82 from Nipun Karunanayake and 62 from Daniel Durman, who put on 139 for the fourth Himley wicket, broke the back of the target.
