Traffic is expected to come to a halt as three-way temporary lights are installed in the city.

It comes as part of Wolverhampton Council's carriageway resurfacing works until August 6.

Hordern Road will be closed, with restrictions in place from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

Diversions will be in place along Newhampton Road West, Tettenhall Road, Lower Street and Aldersley Road.

The second phase of works will see Hunter Street closed between the same times from August 7 until August 8.
