West Midlands Police football unit for Wolves has urged fans to leave ‘plenty of time’ for their trains and to ‘please be patient with staff’.

Currently there is no queue system in place at the station after matches, with supporters just trying to get on any train, which often results in crowded platforms at the station.

Wolves are set to play Watford tomorrow at Molineux at 3pm.

Official supporters club chairman Albert Bates has questioned if the system will work.

He said: “Fans turn up waiting for the train, what are they going to do hold the train up?

"About 98 per cent of fans are good, honest citizens enjoying a game of football.”
