The new Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 range is available to order, with prices starting at £68,920 for the SUV and £71,410 for the Coupe variant.

Both models make use of Mercedes’ 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system, as well as a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 that develops 470bhp and 650Nm of torque for 0-60mph times of 3.8 seconds.

The more powerful GLC 63 S variants are also now on sale, with prices for the SUV starting at £75,670 and £78,160 for the Coupe.

S models make use of the same 4.0-litre V8, but power has been hiked to 503bhp and 700Nm of torque. This boost allows the GLC 63 S SUV and Coupe to accelerate to 60mph from a standstill in 3.6 seconds.

All models are limited to a top speed of 155mph, although this can be raised to 163mph in the GLC 63 and 174mph in the GLC 63 S by specifying the AMG Driver’s package. This is a £2,755 option on the GLC 63 variants, and a £765 option on the GLC 63 S models.

Standard equipment includes an AMG high-performance braking system, AMG sports suspension, AMG sports seats and 19-inch alloy wheels to name but a few features.

Edition 1 models gain features such as a special Selenite Grey Magno paint job with yellow decals, ceramic brakes, a performance exhaust, 21-inch black alloys with yellow rims and a Burmester surround sound system.

The new Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 range is on sale now, with first customer deliveries expected in early 2018.
