The smash happened on the A456 near Rock Sports Youth Football Club, in Callow Hill, Kidderminster.

A man, the passenger from the car, suffered multiple serious injuries in the crash.

Ambulance staff worked with the fire service to release him from the wreckage.

The man was given pain relief and his wounds were dressed before he was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further care.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said the driver of the car, a woman, had managed to get out unaided and was described as ‘walking wounded’.

She suffered a head and hand injury before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The male tractor driver was assessed by ambulance staff but was uninjured and didn’t require hospital treatment.

It happened at 5.15pm on Wednesday.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and a BASICS doctor from Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) were sent to the scene.
