Emergency services were called to Cramer Gutter Lane in Oreton, near Bewdley, shortly after 11.36pm on Monday.

West Mercia Police said a body, believed to be the occupant, was found on Wednesday afternoon.

Detective Sergeant Alex Sullivan of West Mercia Police said: "I can confirm that a body, believed to be the occupant, was located by search teams in the property yesterday afternoon and that next of kin have been notified.

"Formal identification is due to take place and family members are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.

"Enquiries are underway to establish the cause of the fire, which is not being treated as suspicious at this time."

The blaze took hold of the two-storey farm building and took firefighters more than five hours to extinguish.
