Paramedics and firefighters were called to Wendover Road just before 10am this morning.

Crews from Bilston, Tipton and Fallings Park, with 15 firefighters, extinguished the fire, believed to be electrical, which started in the garage.

A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "The incident was reported as a house fire and involved a fire within a garage in a semi-detached house.

"All persons were accounted for.

"The fire caused 25 per cent damage to the garage, with smoke damaging 50 per cent of the house itself.

"It's believed to be a electrical fire."

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman added: "One ambulance and a paramedic officer assessed two patients, one elderly woman and a man in his 40s.

"Neither required hospital treatment and they were discharged at the scene."
