Lounge 107 has had its licence suspended pending the outcome of the hearing

Managers from Lounge 107, formerly the Goal Post, on Waterloo Road, have been summoned to appear at a city council licensing meeting on Wednesday, July 25.

Police chiefs have brought the licensing review and say they are ‘gravely concerned’ about the premises, which has been used by Wolves fans on matchdays for years.

The pub’s licence was suspended last month after police said they found firearms and Class A drugs. A police report also revealed there had been a recent stabbing at the pub.

A number of options are open to licensing chiefs, including revoking the licence completely. Alternatively, they may decide to add stricter conditions to the licence.
