A teenager was punched in the face during an assault outside a Walsall pub.

Police have launched an investigation after the assault outside the Sir Robert Peel pub, in Bell Lane, in the Bloxwich area.

A 17-year-old boy was approached and punched in the face – before his parents were also assaulted.

They later had their car rammed and a window smashed with a knife.

The assault took place on January 5.

A spokesman from West Midlands Police said that enquiries into the assault continue and they have released CCTV images of men they want to speak to in connection with the assault.
