Crews from Walsall and Bloxwich rushed to Hot Totties on Fishley Lane after the fire at 1.50pm on Monday.

It came after a 999 call, with the first fire engine attending the scene within four minutes.

Firefighters discovered a sunbed fire in the back room, which was 100 per cent engulfed in the flames.

One hose reel jet was used as the blaze was confined to the area.

The electrics were also isolated, with two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.

A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "The fire was contained to the room of origin, but that room was 100 per cent engulfed in the fire.

"There was about 75 per cent of smoke logging throughout the shop.

"Smoke also spread to a nearby newsagent but has not caused any damage.
