Firefighters tackle blazing buildings at Aldridge farm
Firefighters tackled a fire involving several barns in Aldridge.
Crews from Walsall Fire Station were called to the fire off Bosty Lane at around 6.40pm on Sunday, following reports of several farm outbuildings on fire.
One of the buildings suffered a partial roof collapse in the fire, a West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said.
Photos on social media show a number of farm barns and outbuildings well alight.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "We were called to the fire at around 6.37pm on Sunday and we originally sent one crew. They then asked for further support and another crew was sent to the scene.
"The fire involved several farm outbuildings, the whole area involved was about 150 metres square.
"One of the outbuildings suffered a partial roof collapse in the fire.
"The crews used two hose reels and one main jet to extinguish the fire. The incident was closed at at around 9.30pm."
