Caravans park up on Morrisons' supermarket car park
Caravans have moved onto a busy supermarket car park in Walsall.
Up to five caravans are believed to have arrived at Morrisons' car park, off Lichfield Street, on Thursday night.
A host of caravans were still on the car park, located in the town centre, on Friday morning.
A spokesman for Walsall Council said: "We have received reports of an unauthorised encampment at the Morrisons site in Lichfield Street, Walsall.
"This is private land and it is therefore the responsibility of the land owner to take any appropriate action.
"Officers from the Community Protection Team have been in contact with the store to ensure they are aware of the position and to enquire if they need any support."
Morrisons have been approached for comment.
Caravans were parked up on Dudley's Tesco Extra car park on Wednesday.
