Former British Lion Works to be demolished for 16 homes

By Jordan Reynolds | Walsall | Property | Published:

The former British Lion Works is set to be demolished to make way for 16 homes in Walsall.

Plans will go before Walsall Council's planning committee this week with an officer's recommendation to delegate authority to officers to approve subject to conditions.

If approved, the development would provide two two-bed homes and 14 three-bed homes on the former industrial site on Forest Lane.

An associated access route and parking will also be considered as part of the plan.

The application was considered by the committee last year but amendments have since been made.
