An application to covert 69-72 Foregate Street into flats has been approved by Stafford Borough Council.

It comes after Key Land Capita acquired Image House which is about 200 metres away from the town centre and opposite the Madford Retail Park and the former Stafford General Infirmary.

It came with planning permission for 20 apartments which was granted last year, but now plans have been tweaked and approved.

A total of 21 parking spaces will also be provided as part of the plan.
