Appeal to find missing father ahead of daughter's first birthday

Family and friends of a missing man have appealed for help finding him ahead of his daughter's first birthday.

Michael Mayo who has been missing since December 15

Father-of-two Michael Mayo, 39 and from Rugeley, has now been missing for a week and his loved ones are becoming increasingly concerned.

Becca Marsh, a friend of Michael's, said it his daughter's first birthday tomorrow.

She added: "He's been my best friend since I was three.

"He lives in Rugeley with his girlfriend and two children.

"It's his daughter's first birthday tomorrow.

"We're worried as he's so vulnerable."

Michael is described as white, 6ft 3ins tall and of a medium build. He often wears a grey flat cap and has a Celtic tattoo on his left forearm.

He was last seen in Corporation Street, Stafford, last weekend.

He has connections in Cannock, Rugeley and Stafford.

Anyone who has seen Michael or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 342 of December 15.
