Lee and Marie Garnett invited film crews into their business The Lodge in Cannock Chase in September last year, and the programme is set to air on Monday.

Four in a Bed is a game show in which competitors take it in turns visiting other B&Bs and then pay what they consider is fair for their stay.

The winner is the business named as the best value for money.

Lee, 52, said they travelled around six hours up to the Highlands for one of the B&Bs.

The father-of-two said: "We weren't told where the other B&Bs were right up until the last minute and we ended up having to drive right up to the Highlands in Scotland, we also went to Suffolk and Falkirk.

"It was a strange experience, a bit surreal to have a camera pointing at you, but by the end of the week I'd just got used to it.

"They filmed us first thing in the morning when we were still in bed, in my pjs brushing my teeth.

"It was a great experience, we really enjoyed it, we were really lucky to have some great other contestants, when I've watched it before some of them can be difficult but we had a great bunch."

Lee and Marie have run the B&B, which has three double rooms and a twin room for around two years.
