Plans launched to convert Sandwell home into 7-bed HMO

A planning application has been submitted to turn a terraced house into a house in multiple occupation.

Sandwell Council has received the plans for a terraced property is located in Jesson Street, West Bromwich, which has been earmarked for seven beds as part of the HMO.

The plans will be decided upon by the council's planning committee at a future meeting.

Councillor Bawa Dhallu, who represents West Bromwich Central, said: "I expect that residents will be concerned by these plans. "I am concerned there will be a lot of noise and nuisance.

"People are living there peacefully and i don't think it will be a good idea."
