The pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck outside West Bromwich Bus Station.

Services were delayed as the ambulance service treated the woman.

The single-decker National Express bus was left with a cracked windscreen following the incident.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman Claire Brown said: "We were called just after 11am outside the bus station on West Bromwich Ringway to reports of an RTC involving a bus and a pedestrian.

"One ambulance, paramedic officer and the West Midlands care team attended.

"They treated the woman, who suffered minor injuries, and she was taken to Sandwell Hospital."

West Midlands Police Force Response said: "Unit response officers have been assisting WMAS in West Bromwich with a bus vs pedestrian road traffic collision. All roads now reopened and no serious injuries."
