Social services believe the family may be in London after a court appeal was launched to find them.

Officials have evidence that Eunice Kyerah, who is more than 30 weeks pregnant, Richard Kyerah and their son Joeking Kyerah have been recently staying in the Croydon area.

A High Court judge on Friday issued an urgent appeal for help finding Joeking.

Mr Justice Keehan said evidence suggested that the youngster has been "spirited away" by his parents in the wake of fears that he would be taken from their care.

The judge has issued arrest warrants for Mr and Mrs Kyerah, and urged anyone with information to raise the alarm.

He says it is "of the gravest possible urgency" that Joeking, who was born on February 23, 2017, is found.

The judge appealed for help during a hearing in the Family Division of the High Court in London on Friday.

He was told that Mr and Mrs Kyerah, who are originally from Ghana, had links to the West Midlands, South Wales and Norfolk.

Social services bosses at Sandwell Council had welfare responsibilities for Joeking and had begun family court litigation.

Mr Justice Keehan said Joeking's case was being analysed in private family court proceedings.

Hopwever, the judge said all efforts to trace the little boy had failed and it was time to reveal his identity and ask the public for help.

Lawyers representing social workers said Mrs Kyerah had lived in Tipton and was believed to have stayed in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Mr Kyerah owned a property in Ferndale, Rhondda Cynon Taf.

They say Mrs Kyerah is around 5ft 6ins and Mr Kyerah is a little shorter.
