Man dies after suffering medical emergency in Kingswinford town centre

A man died after suffering a medical emergency in Kingswinford town centre.

Paramedics were called to Market Street at 3.46pm on Tuesday and administered specialist trauma care to the man.

He was taken to hospital but died.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a medical emergency on Market Street, Kingswinford, at 3.46pm on Tuesday.

“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car was sent to the scene.

“On arrival, crews discovered one patient, a man, and administered specialist trauma care before transferring him to Russells Hall Hospital.

“Sadly, shortly after arrival at hospital it became apparent that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased.”
