Woman confirmed dead in Brierley Hill
A woman has been confirmed dead after emergency services were called to Brierley Hill.
Paramedics were called to a medical emergency in The Breeze at about 4.45pm yesterday.
They found one woman but nothing could be done to save her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is being treated as non-suspicious, police said.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called by police at 4.44pm yesterday to reports of a medical emergency at an address in The Breeze, Brierley Hill.
"We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene. Upon arrival we found one patient, a woman. Unfortunately it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: "The death is being treated as non-suspicious and has been referred to the coroner."
