Congestion caused by temporary traffic lights in Pensnett

Temporary traffic lights are causing delays for drivers in Pensnett.

The lights have been put up by Western Power Distribution on Pensnett High Street at the junction of Corbyns Hall Lane and Tansey Green Road.

A spokesman for Dudley Council said: "Temporary traffic lights have been put in place by Western Power Distribution on Pensnett High Street A4101 at the junction of Corbyns Hall Lane and Tansey Green Road.

"The lights are currently causing severe congestion in the area and motorists are urged to seek alternative routes where possible.

"The council is in talks with Western Power about traffic management options to minimise disruption during the works."

Dudley Council said the lights are due to be taken down this afternoon.
