Man taken to hospital after crash in Dudley

A man has been taken to hospital after two cars crashed outside Dudley Zoo.

An ambulance crew attended Castle Hill, outside Castle Hill Casino, at around 6am today.

Two paramedic officers assessed the two male drivers, with one being discharged at the scene after suffering minor injuries.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "A man was transported to Russells Hall with injuries not believed to be serious as a precaution."

The road was closed briefly in the aftermath of the crash.
