Appeal after motorbike rider left 'critical' following serious crash

A fresh appeal has been launched for information after a serious crash involving a motorbike and lorry.

The motorbike rider was taken to hospital after the crash in Brettell Lane, Amblecote, Stourbridge, at about 12pm on Thursday.

The 29-year-old man remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

The driver of the lorry remained at the scene and is assisting police with inquiries.

DC Mat Leeming, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are keen to establish the circumstances around this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to us to get in touch.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dash cam footage."
