PICTURED: Porsche smashes into West Midlands nursery

This was the scene after a Porsche smashed into a nursery in the West Midlands today.

West Midlands Ambulance Service released these pictures of the aftermath of the crash

The Cayenne hit the outside wall of the Happy Days Nursery on Hagley Road West and was one of four vehicles involved in the crash.

A silver van was also badly damaged in the accident, which happened on the Quinton stretch of the road in Birmingham at around 10.45am.

No one in the nursery was hurt.

Paramedics said the Porsche driver was in pain from his seatbelt, but did not need treatment.

The van driver, 63, was complaining of rib pain and was taken to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a precaution.
