"She was a diamond – she was the nicest girl you could ever meet and she doted on her children."

The brother of a woman who died aged 30 at her home in Bloxwich has paid an emotional tribute to his sister – and launched a fundraiser for her young children.

Jonathon Gutteridge set up a page on GoFundMe after his sister Danielle Talbot was found on the floor of her house by her two young children on January 9.

The 30-year-old had texted her parents, Sandra and John Gutteridge, asking them to pop over after a shopping trip, as they did regularly.

When they arrived 20 minutes later the couple knocked on the door but received no answer, and so tried looking through the window.

It was then that John saw his daughter on the floor with her two sons – three-year-old Oliver and 20-month-old Jack – on top of her desperately trying to wake her up.

The oldest of the two shouted "Grandad" upon seeing him at the window, before the parents forced their way in.

Emergency services were called and paramedics spent 50 minutes trying to revive Danielle before she was pronounced dead.

Jonathon is now aiming to raise as much money as possible for his young nephews, and more than £1,900 has been donated in the first 10 days.

The 29-year-old said: "I set up the page because my sister was only 30 and she's left behind two boys.

"She was told 10 years ago she couldn't have kids, but she met my now brother-in-law Jason and then she found out she was pregnant.

"It was a miracle child and then she had another one. I set it up for something to leave to the boys, at least for when they're 18 they will have something.

"My sister is gone so I have to step up and be there for my nephews now.

"So far we've raised a lot so it's gone off quite well – It's nice to see that people actually care."

Danielle and Jason were married at Walsall registry office on July 2017.

Jason, 30 and from Cannock, said: "I will say it's been a struggle. It's all the little things that set you off.

"I'm just keeping going for my two boys, if I didn't have them I don't know what I would do.

"I can't thank everyone enough for their help. The support people have put in, it's amazing.

"I was with her for eight years and it's amazing how many people know her.

"I've spoken to some lads and it's opened up their eyes - you have to make sure you spend time with your loved ones.

"She never had a bad bone in her body and, as a typical mother, she would do anything for her boys.

"She would help out whenever she could - she was just a great wife."

Danielle worked at PJH in Cannock as a scheduler – organising the routes for deliveries - and had only one "downside," Jonathon said.

"She could never see the bad in people, she always saw the good no matter what," he explained.

For now the cause of death remains a mystery and an investigation has been launched by the coroner.

Jonathon added: "We don't actually know how she died, to be honest.

"We were told it was either a blood clot or a heart attack, or both – if the clot travelled to the heart it could have caused that.

"The coroner said they don't know what the cause of death is and they've taken some samples and sent it off for investigation."
