Ward 14 has been closed since last night after a patient tested positive for the highly contagious infection.

A spokesman for Walsall NHS Trust said: "Ward 14 at Walsall Manor Hospital is still closed to visitors today as we protect patients and staff from the highly contagious norovirus infection."

Patients were told the to avoid the ward unless they were sick.
