Doxey Road long and short stay car parks, and Riverside Undercroft (M&S) car park were closed due to flooding.

High water also resulted in flooding in the town's Victoria Park, in Tenterbanks, which has been closed, along with Baswich Lane at the bridges over the River Sow and Kingston Brook.

Stafford Borough Council said that Doxey Road long stay permit holders can instead use the Waterfront multi-storey car park.
