Aldersley High School in Pendeford confirmed there has been three cases, one in Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12.

It comes after a teacher who works for Amethyst Sixth, which is based at Aldersley High School, tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month.

A spokesman for the school said: "I can confirm that we have had isolated positive student cases: one in Year 10, one in Year 11 and one in Year 12. None of these are related.

"Working with Public Health England and Wolverhampton Public Health we have contacted all those that have been effected and they are currently self isolating."
