The event run by Margot James will feature 40 organisations, featuring apprenticeship and training providers, colleges and universities.

They include King Edward VI College, Stourbridge, the University of Birmingham, the London School of Economics, Dudley College and Nova Training.

Stourbridge MP Ms James said: "I am thrilled to be holding my latest post-16 fair. I believe that the opportunities available for people to continue their education, training or indeed to enter the field of work are more diverse than ever before – so I have aimed to reflect that in my event next week.

“My Aspiration Stourbridge programme holds events like these every year, but this is the first time my education and skills fair will feature apprenticeship and training providers as well as universities.

"My hope is that with the huge range of organisations on hand to talk to local young people – 40 at last count – there will really be something for everyone.”

The event takes place on March 28 at Thorns Collegiate Academy, Quarry Bank, from 4.30pm-6pm.

Admission is free.
